Congress Street Bridge
In a city named for its bridges (and its port), isn't odd that Bridgeport's most iconic bridge hasn't even been a bridge in more than eleven years?
Soon it will be demolished, a project funded by the city and also by federal stimulus monies.
For these color film photos, I climbed inside the bridge and got up close and personal to learn about its beautiful underbelly. What you see here are things nobody will ever see again.
